Roasted Pears with Berries and Blue Cheese:

Introduction: These roasted pears are a perfect balance of sweet and savory. Topped with fresh berries, creamy blue cheese, and crunchy walnuts, they make for a delightful appetizer or a unique dessert. The natural sweetness of the pears pairs beautifully with the tangy cheese and fresh herbs, offering a deliciously warm treat.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe pears, halved and cored
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pear halves on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  3. Drizzle the pears with honey and sprinkle them with fresh thyme.
  4. Roast the pears in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are tender and slightly caramelized.
