Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2–3 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, or peanuts)
  • 2–3 tbsp chocolate chips or drizzle (optional, for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and honey/maple syrup. Mix well.
  4. Stir in the oats, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Sprinkle chopped nuts and chocolate chips (if using) on top.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool before slicing. Drizzle with melted chocolate if desired.
